Staircase Decoration at a Fabric Manufacturing Unit

We noticed this beautiful wall decoration at a fabric manufacturing unit. The company has square fabric pieces framed nicely arranged on the wall of staircases. All these frames display fabrics from different parts of India and include Banaras Pure Silk, Chanderi from Madhya Pradesh, Jacquard from Delhi and Cotton Block Prints from Jaipur.

Spring green pillow cover – Made of Organic Cotton Fabric

Can’t wait to share this lovely pillow cover. This is made using Ghada fabric ( a type of unbleached, organic cotton fabric in thick texture) This fabric is widely used in making Kalamkari prints and we decided to make some block print pillows using this for a simple reason – the fabric looks awesome and it is organic. If you remember an old post about Fabric Block Printing on DesiCrafts blog, you will find this motif very familiar 🙂

New Collection of Hand Carved Wooden Stamps from South Africa

These are hand carved wooden stamps from South Africa, we recently procured from one of our suppliers. We don’t know when, but we plan to make some really serious organic fabric using these wooden stamps 😉

These will be printed on order. We use plain white cotton, colored cotton, Ahimsa or Khadi fabric, organic cotton fabric, muslin fabric and pure silks for printing. Choose the color and pattern and write to us at info@desicraftshop.com to place an order.
